- Expand funding pathways: Strengthen foundation and institutional partnerships while opening new channels for support
- Leverage systems for scale: Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) and data to inform strategy, track performance, and drive results
- Serve as a key ambassador: Represent GWC with donors, partners, and at strategic events
- 7–10+ years of advancement leadership experience, including managing and scaling fundraising efforts in a growing nonprofit environment
- Proven success securing major gifts, including five, six, and seven-figure asks
- Demonstrated ability to build or grow an advancement function and develop fundraising strategy across multiple donor segments
- Experience engaging high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporate partners
- Strong proficiency with CRM system, donor strategy, and moves management
- Executive-level leadership experience, including cross-functional collaboration and board engagement
- Exceptional relational intelligence, communication skills, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Build the engine at a pivotal moment: Design and scale GWC’s advancement function, shaping the strategy, structure, and systems needed for long-term sustainability
- Expand and diversify funding: Move beyond a concentrated donor base to build a multi-channel ecosystem

- Build while leading from the front: Establish the systems and discipline for scale while actively cultivating and stewarding key relationships
- Build trust and gain clarity: Establish strong relationships with the CEO, founder, board, staff and key stakeholders. Listen deeply, understand the current landscape, and align around priorities for the next season
- Define the path forward: Develop a clear 12–24 month advancement strategy, including a focused revenue roadmap, pipeline priorities, and realistic performance metrics
- Strengthen the foundation: Begin implementing consistent systems, portfolio management, and reporting discipline within Salesforce to support scalable growth
- Generate early momentum: Build a qualified major gifts pipeline, secure initial new revenue, and activate key relationships into more consistent donor engagement
