Our Values:
- Know God – Through his word: The Bible is God’s Word, and it is our authority for life. If we want to know God, we must read His word. If we adjust our lives to what it says is true, right, and best, we will experience a better way to live. (2 Timothy 3:16, John 17:2)
- Trust Jesus: No matter what you have done wrong or what has been done wrong to you, we believe it is still possible to reconnect back into an intimate relationship with God, made possible by grace through faith in Jesus alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:8)
- Led by the spirit: We believe that living life with God and with one another involves implementing an intentional strategy to know the One, True God, eliminate any obstacles or negative, untrue responses that stand against God’s truth, and engaging with God by serving God and our neighbor through our time, abilities and finances. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate organizational priorities to the worship team and provide ministry-specific input to leadership.
- Partner with Production, Creative, and Marketing teams to support weekend worship experiences.
- Foster healthy relationships and collaboration between worship teams and other ministries.
- Provide direct leadership to S&D Worship staff and coaching/support to Campus Worship leaders.
- As needed, lead worship, primarily at the broadcast location, and occasionally at other campuses.
- Meet weekly with worship staff and hold regular one-on-ones with direct reports and Campus Worship leaders.
- Support alignment of worship ministry culture across campuses.
- Support volunteer engagement and leadership development within the worship ministry across all campuses.
- Manage worship ministry budgets, scheduling systems, and administrative processes.
- Collaborate with Campus Pastors to develop location-specific worship environments, and coach/support Campus Worship leaders to achieve outcomes.
Key Qualifications
Education:
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- Preferred 7+ years leading worship at a church of at least 5,000 attendance
- Preferred Ordination
