First Naples Church is a church of about 5,000 people, which is growing with young families, professionals, and empty nesters. They have a tremendous history of long-tenured pastors and staff members. First Naples has Baptist roots but has seen tremendous growth among the unchurched, de-churched, and people from different denominations. They value strong expository preaching, Christ-exalting worship, prayer saturation, international missions, and local community outreach. Today, First Naples Church has a high ceiling and strong resources and is marked by a strong vision for spiritual and numeric growth.

Position Description

The Executive Pastor of Operations will be responsible to the Lead Pastor to plan, organize, and direct the church operations and administration functions. They will provide high-level organizational leadership to create and maintain systems, processes, and procedures to move the vision forward in all relevant areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations: Oversee all the operations ministry, including facilities, information technology, human resources, finance, food services, security, and donor development.
  • Finances: Oversee and evaluate all the financial budgeting and advise the executive leadership team and the Lead Pastor in financial decisions.
  • Systems and Processes: Oversee the operating policies for all operation teams and create systems for efficiency, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning: Be a catalyst for strategic planning and master planning for all campuses.
