First Image

Why I Love This Opportunity

Nathan Jones

Associate

What strikes me about First Image is the incredibly high quality of people – from the Boardroom to the break-room – every single staff person I have encountered exudes the grace and love that defines the organization’s mission. And what a fantastic mission it is – focusing on caring for children and vulnerable parents, this is significant work. In many ways, this role will be a gift to the right candidate – a gift of community, of purpose, and of the opportunity to impact the people of Portland in an incredibly Christ-centered way!

About This Organization

First Image exists to be a life-affirming presence in greater Portland by serving those most at risk for abortion with medically professional women’s health and pregnancy support services so they can make informed decisions and receive holistic care for their ongoing pregnancy needs.

For 40 years, First Image has been creating places in greater Portland where moms and dads facing unsupported pregnancies can experience abundant lives for themselves and their children.

This is provided through a combination of education, counseling, and health services offered at Ava Health clinics (formerly branded Pregnancy Resource Centers).
