Every weekend, over 2,000 adults and kids show up at a vibrant, growing church in northern Lake County, Florida. First Baptist Church Umatilla has experienced exponential growth over the past 15 years – spiritually, numerically, and physically. As they continuously seek to “forget what lies behind and REACH FORWARD to what lies ahead,” the leadership and congregation keep serving Christ with greater and greater resolve. God is at work and on the move in and through this highly relational, biblical, practical, and missional church.
FBC Umatilla is an epicenter of a true community that’s transforming lives locally and around the globe. Since being called as Senior Pastor in 2008, Brooks Braswell has consistently challenged the status quo at the church through highly creative Bible teaching and sacrificial pastoral care.
The FBC Umatilla family keeps reaching more and more people for Christ, and lives are being changed for eternity. As the church embraces growth, they’re moving into a 1,200-seat worship center. As the Lord provides and guides, FBC Umatilla is eager to serve its neighbors, community, and world!
