FBC Loganville has begun a multi-year succession plan for our Senior Pastor of 33 years, Ronnie Kendall. Ronnie will serve as a Co-Pastor with Chase Snyder until 2025. In January 2025, Chase will become the Lead Pastor, and Ronnie will become the Pastor of Counseling. The Pastor of Ministries will serve on the Lead Team with the Co-Pastors. This is an executive-level role. The Pastor of Ministries will primarily focus on developing and implementing the strategy for our various ministry leaders to ensure we are ministering effectively, emphasizing discipleship, groups, and evangelism.

Position Description

The Pastor of Ministries will spiritually and strategically lead the staff and operations of the church to accomplish the mission and vision set by the Holy Spirit, Lead Pastor, and Elders. The Pastor of Ministries will develop the staff, create and protect ministry strategy, manage the church’s resources wisely with the Administrative Deacons, and support the spiritual health of the church as it develops disciples and serves the community, nation, and world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Further the Elder’s vision by overseeing the staff and the ministry of the church.
  • Spiritually lead the staff alongside the Lead Pastor.
  • Lead the ministry team leaders as the Pastor of Ministries’ primary reports to evaluate, train, and hire the church staff and evaluate ministry strategies in every department.
  • Evaluate and develop all ministry areas, gatherings, and events to ensure effective discipleship and evangelism.
  • Work with the Lead Pastor, Elders, Administrative Deacons, and team leaders to oversee the church’s operations concerning personnel, finance, and facilities.
  • Directly serve alongside the Administrative Deacons.
