About This Organization

Pastor Léonce and Breanna dreamt of planting a church with the goal of seeing a spiritual family reflect the promise of Revelation 7:9. In spite of the impact the Pandemic had on the church throughout 2020, Renovation was reborn on Easter Sunday, 2021. Filled with new energy and some trepidation, Renovation forged forward with a nearly new congregation. Over the last three years, Renovation has grown back to nearly 1200 people. It is truly a miracle that God has sustained and is now re-growing Renovation. Renovation church government is made up of three groups of Elders. They serve in varying capacities: guided by Pastors, protected by the Executive Ministry Team, and strengthened by Overseers.

Position Description

The Executive Pastor will be responsible for implementing the vision of Renovation Church by providing leadership and direction to the ministry teams. This person will oversee the church’s organizational dynamics, strategy, and staff coordination and lead in all functional areas to accomplish the mission and vision of the church.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining relational equity with the Senior Pastor, staff, church, and community.
  • Fully embrace and expand the staff and church culture while supporting the Senior Pastor in achieving the church’s vision, mission, and strategy through prayer, ministry evaluation, discernment, decision-making, planning, and the overall guidance and leadership of the church staff.
  • Collaboratively establish and maintain a set of key result areas, measures, and health assessments that provide the Senior Pastor and church staff with ongoing effectiveness and health in all areas of the church’s ministries.
  • Create, oversee, and implement a ministry metrics Dashboard that keeps the Senior Pastor connected and informed but not bogged down in Renovation Church’s day-to-day ministerial execution outcomes.
  • Provide oversight of ministry organization, long-range and/or strategic plans, priorities, goals, and budgets. Anticipate problems and embrace and facilitate the problem-solving process.
  • Ensure every ministry staff member has a written growth plan that targets specific leadership and ministerial development outcomes.
  • Ensure each ministry area has written and detailed plans and priorities for each specific ministry season. Track progress toward measurable outcomes and provide assistance as needed to increase effectiveness in execution and positive outcomes.

  • Prioritize mental, emotional, and physical health.
