CrossPoint Alliance Church is a growing, thriving, healthy church led by a relational, gifted Lead Pastor. It has unified, passionate staff and elder teams and is committed to “helping people trust and fully follow Jesus.” This is the opportunity of a lifetime for a ministry-minded Executive Pastor who is drawn to Mountain West living in a small, close-knit community!
What started as a Sunday School ministry in downtown Lewiston, Idaho, with three families became Lewiston’s First Alliance Church in 1942. After outgrowing its downtown location, the church moved to Warner Avenue in Lewiston in 1967, becoming the Warner Avenue Alliance Church. From 2006 to 2008, church attendance increased rapidly by over 200%. So, after 40 years at Warner Alliance, the church transitioned from one service each Sunday to three services. However, attendance was at capacity even with three services and new ministries were developing. By God’s provision, Warner Avenue Alliance was gifted land, which helped launch a capital campaign for a new building. In 2011, CrossPoint Alliance Church was completed.
In 2019, Andrew Wilson became the Lead Pastor of CrossPoint. Shortly after this, CrossPoint navigated a global pandemic, settled on a new vision, and began to move forward with a renewed vision. CrossPoint is now three years into walking out the vision God has given to be a community helping people trust and fully follow Jesus.
It’s an exciting time at CrossPoint!
