Doxology Bible Church is a Christ-centered community in Fort Worth committed to “developing Christ-centered people who make a difference,” and that mission comes alive every week through a church that is deeply invested in its city. From a special-needs-inclusive kids ministry and vibrant youth and college programs to the Hero2Hero mentoring partnership with South Hills Elementary and practical support groups like Grief Share, Divorce Care, and Financial Peace, Doxology meets families right where they are and walks alongside them through every season of life. There’s a genuine energy here, a welcoming, worry-free environment for kids and a real sense that this congregation is partnering with what God is already doing throughout Fort Worth and beyond. For the right family pastor, this is a chance to shepherd a growing, mission-minded church that is actively shaping the next generation and making a tangible difference in its community.
Doxology is looking for a Family Pastor to lead our student ministry (youth and college) and kids ministry teams into their next chapter of growth. This is more than a ministry management role; it’s a seat at the table where our church’s vision comes to life, with a unique opportunity to build something that will outlast a single generation: a church-wide culture where parents are equipped and empowered as the primary disciple-makers of their own children.
If you’re a strategic thinker with a shepherd’s heart, someone who can cast vision for an organization while still remembering every volunteer’s name, we want to talk to you.
As Family Pastor, you’ll provide directional oversight for both our student and kids ministries, ensuring they operate with excellence, alignment, and heart. You’ll sit on our executive leadership team, helping shape churchwide strategy rather than just executing it. And you’ll take point on one of our highest-value initiatives: building a cohesive, relationally credible parent ministry that helps moms and dads disciple their kids at home, not just drop them off on Sunday.
You’ll inherit ministries that are already healthy. Your challenge is to take strong teams and make them stronger: sharper in strategy, deeper in leadership bench, and wider in evangelistic reach.
