Reno Christian Fellowship

Director of Operations

Reno,

Nevada

Why I Love This Opportunity

Keith Twigg

Senior Associate

The elders & staff of Reno Christian Fellowship have worked extremely hard over the last years to prepare the soil for the type of season in which RCF now finds itself. This church is thriving and growing; this role will be a key part of ensuring its mission effectiveness continues for years to come!

About This Organization

During the Jesus Movement of the early 1970s, Reno Christian Fellowship (RCF) began as Reno’s first non-denominational church plant. For decades, through non-traditional ministries, RCF grew and multiplied. In 1983, the church opened its facility, located on a twenty-acre tract of land in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains.

From that time until today, RCF has been committed to sharing the gospel, biblical teaching, and ministries that fully align with our mission. After the recent hire of Nick Dalgardno as Lead Pastor, the church clarified its vision and mission to give direction for years to come. Building on the solid foundation of the past, the church and leadership are moving forward and seeing baptisms increase, new young families join, and long-time members reenergized. RCF is well-positioned to bring in a Director of Operations to build a team aligned with vision and direction.

RCF is a non-denominational church that is elder-protected/governed and staff-run. The elders approve the annual budget, which is recommended by the staff. Elders are actively involved in various ministry areas and serve on the board for a set term. They are the biggest supporters of the staff. The pastoral staff fully embraces the Ephesians 4 calling to be “equippers” of ministry and so volunteer “SERVE TEAM” members lead significant ministry throughout the church with local and global impact.
