CrossWinds is a powerhouse of a church located 30 miles east of San Francisco Bay. It has been ministering for 35 years in the community of Livermore. CrossWinds has been known for using the creative arts from the very start. This reputation continues today as they communicate the gospel message of Jesus each week with a high value for creativity. They are a church that practices the “Third Way,” which means they graciously hold space to agree to disagree. CrossWinds is committed to using their property in kingdom-minded ways and has 28 tiny homes on its campus as permanent, sustainable housing for formerly unhoused individuals.
The Creative Arts Director* is a pivotal role that will shape the weekend experience through the use of a breadth of mediums such as music, lights and video. This role will lead the creative arts department. They will oversee a team of staff and volunteers who joyfully put their hands in the middle of services that point to the hope found in Jesus. *This position could be a Pastor if the candidate prefers and is qualified for a pastoral role.
