Create Church is a healthy, growing church in Richarson, TX that is reaching a diverse community, and they are seeking a Youth Pastor to lead the youth ministry (6th-12th). The youth ministry has significant momentum and is looking for the right leader to build out a complete strategy for youth ministry and disciple students.

About This Organization

The vision of Create Church is to help people find and fulfill their created purpose in Christ. Their heart is for Create Church to be a place where everyone can discover Christ and His plan for their life.

The church moved into its new building a few years ago, and they currently average over 700 in attendance, with 50-60 students attending the youth ministry on average each week.

Position Description

Create Church is looking for a Youth Pastor to lead the youth ministry (6th-12th) and the volunteer team that leads the weekly youth gathering, events, and trips. They will develop appropriate discipleship relationships with students and equip parents to develop their students’ faith.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a relational culture in student ministries that is outreach-orientated and that meet the developmental stages of middle school and high school students.
  • Teach the Bible to students and meet with students to help them grow in their faith.
  • Developing and strengthening the large group and small groups of the student ministry.
  • Investing in and equipping youth ministry volunteers
  • Strategically and creatively leading the youth ministry with events such as monthly gatherings, retreats, ministry projects, and trips.
  • Pursuing a ministry presence beyond the church
