Cottage Grove Church

Worship Arts Director

Des Moines, Iowa

About This Organization

Cottage Grove Church is a vibrant congregation of approximately 800 regular attendees nestled in a diverse community near downtown Des Moines. The congregation worships in a historic Presbyterian church building, an architectural gem originally constructed in 1917.

The church’s mission to “Glorify God and Make Disciples of All Nations” reflects its deep commitment to spreading the Gospel through both word and deed throughout Des Moines. This vision is brought to life through four core values: discipleship, authenticity, neighboring, and diversity.

As a member of the SALT Network of churches, Cottage Grove emphasizes collegiate ministry and intentionally develops next-generation leaders. Its strategic location and inclusive approach allow it to serve as a meaningful spiritual hub within the urban landscape of Iowa’s capital city.
