I believe that Cornerstone Church is setting an example for what it looks like to do multisite ministry in rural America. The people of Litchfield are welcoming, friendly and truly are family. This is a great place for those who love the outdoors, small-town charm, and big-city ministry.
Cornerstone Church, with sites in Cokato and Litchfield, Minnesota, is a thriving and growing church family. Their mission is to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and they carry out this mission within the essential context of relationship. They are a group of people who take their calling seriously without taking themselves too seriously. They work hard but also have a ton of fun.
Pre-Covid, around 1,100 from every generation worshiped together each week, with a programming emphasis on young families in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s. A large percentage of the body actively engages in ministry and community throughout the week. They are known in their community as a place where all are welcomed regardless of their background. A healthy culture of “family” embraces people from all walks of life in authentic relationships. They are also known for their community involvement, having made numerous intentional and bold steps to connect with and serve diverse people in need. Their commitment to solid yet unpretentious Bible teaching with real-life application reveals ongoing life transformation, as they help people connect to a real God in a grace-filled, safe and relevant setting. Additionally, they are known for how they give and love.
The Youth Pastor will give oversight for all things youth ministry for the Litchfield campus while having a voice in the development of future youth ministries at campuses.
