Kids Director

The Director of Kids Ministries is directly responsible for providing leadership for all elements for kids birth through 5th grade within Cornerstone Church’s Litchfield, MN Campus, as well as collaborating with other existing and future site ministry leaders of kids. This is a leadership, team building, coaching, and partnering position with the objective of helping the students of our area become totally devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serves as a catalyst in executing the vision and direction of kids ministries in conjunction with the Family Ministries Pastor.
• Provide effective strategic leadership to the volunteer leaders along with tools for making decisions and implementing actions that produce desired results.
• Develop and implement strategies for spiritual growth within but not limited to: Sunday events, outreach, Kid’s events, mentoring, service within the church and to the community at large, discipleship, short-and mid-term mission experiences.
• Serve as the primary Bible teacher for Kids Ministries.
  Provide resources and conduct training for parents.
  Facilitate age and gender-appropriate counseling and mentoring.

• Cornerstone is seeking a leader who has the competency and passion to lead in a large context of ministry while also being energized by small-town living.
• It will be vital that this new leader has a good understanding of how to equip parents to be heroes.
• The new Kids Director will have the opportunity to build upon a solid foundation and families who are looking to deepen their community while also reaching out to people who don’t yet know Jesus.
  It is imperative that the new Kids Pastor designs a ministry structure that is scalable to grow with the church.
