Key Responsibilities
Leadership Development Strategy
- Build and lead Citygate’s leadership development strategy, creating meaningful learning experiences that equip ministry leaders for greater organizational and Kingdom impact.
- Design and cultivate conferences, cohorts, executive coaching, and learning communities that strengthen leaders across the Citygate Network.
Member Engagement & Strategic Partnerships
- Build trusted relationships with member ministries, providing executive coaching, counsel, and practical leadership support.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships that expand learning opportunities, best practices, and collaborative influence throughout the network.
Program & Organizational Leadership
- Lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of Citygate’s leadership programs, accreditation initiatives, and learning experiences.
- Build scalable systems, processes, and learning infrastructure that increase member engagement, organizational effectiveness, and long-term impact.
Executive & Organizational Leadership
- Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape organizational strategy, strengthen member engagement, and advance Citygate’s mission.
- Represent Citygate Network through speaking, teaching, facilitation, and thought leadership that strengthens member ministries and broadens organizational influence.
Key Qualifications
- Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Citygate’s Statement of Faith and Code of Ethics.
- 7+ years of executive leadership experience leading strategy, teams, and organizational initiatives within a ministry, nonprofit, network, or association.
- Demonstrated success designing and leading leadership development experiences, including conferences, executive coaching, cohorts, or adult learning initiatives.
- Experience influencing diverse leaders and organizations through executive communication, facilitation, coaching, and relationship building.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, relational, and executive leadership skills.

- Influence a movement. Build trusted relationships with more than 330 rescue missions and ministries across North America & Canada, strengthening leaders who are transforming lives through the gospel.
- Advance a national initiative. Help shape and expand Citygate’s Collective Impact Initiative, equipping ministries to collaborate more effectively in addressing homelessness and its root causes.
- Build scalable systems for lasting impact. Design the programs, partnerships, and learning infrastructure that will strengthen member engagement and position Citygate for its next season of growth.
- Partner with the CEO to shape what’s next. Serve as a trusted strategic thought partner, helping guide organizational priorities while influencing the future health and effectiveness of the Citygate Network.
First Year Wins
- Build trusted relationships with Citygate member ministries and strategic partners.
- Evaluate and strengthen Citygate’s leadership development strategy and learning pathways.
- Develop a clear understanding of the Collective Impact Initiative and contribute to advancing Citygate’s response to the homelessness epidemic.
