I love this opportunity because it is a rare blend of rooted Anglican worship and outward facing mission that aims to be a sign of God’s beauty, goodness, and truth for the sake of the city. I am drawn to the three streams identity that holds together Scripture, sacrament, and Spirit led life in a way that forms people deeply and sends them faithfully. I am energized by the chance to lead a young parish into a new season of mature growth through clear discipleship pathways, strong neighborhood groups, and lay leadership development. And I love the setting in Chamblee (broader Atlanta), where the Gospel can take on real local shape in a diverse community that is ready for presence, hospitality, and mercy.
Church of the Incarnation is a growing Anglican parish in north Atlanta whose mission is to become “a sign of God’s beauty, goodness, and truth for the sake of our city.” Incarnation was established in 2019 as a church plant from Trinity Anglican Church (westside Atlanta) and became a self-governing parish in the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO) after forming a vestry and relocating to Chamblee in 2023. Incarnation is rooted in the authority of Scripture, sacramental life, and the Anglican tradition, structure, and liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer.
The Rector is the primary pastor, teacher, and spiritual leader at Church of the Incarnation. The Rector will shepherd the parish, lead the clergy and staff, partner closely with the vestry, and work in communion with C4SO diocesan leadership and the Bishop.
This role calls for a spiritually mature and emotionally steady ordained priest who will lead with humility and care while deepening formation and fostering ministries and relationships within and beyond our parish.
