This is a pivotal moment at Christ’s Church. The mission is clear. The culture is healthier. The vision for disciple-making is sharpened. What’s needed now is a leader who can translate that clarity into consistently strong, spiritually formative weekend experiences. If you love building teams, raising standards, and shaping gatherings that truly form disciples—not just produce services—this is a great opportunity to make lasting impact.
Christ’s Church is a long-standing, visible presence in Jacksonville with a deep commitment to making disciples who follow Jesus, are transformed by Jesus, and join Him in His mission. Over the decades, the church has grown into a dynamic ministry that includes both the church and Christ’s Church Academy. Through seasons of growth and refinement, the leadership has recently clarified mission, streamlined structure, and made meaningful cultural adjustments that are producing real momentum.
Weekend gatherings are rooted in Acts 2:42—Word, worship, communion, prayer, fellowship, and celebration—and are being intentionally shaped to cultivate loving relationships, life transformation, and mission as a normal rhythm of church life. This is not a church chasing trends. It is a church recommitting to biblical foundations and asking how to execute them faithfully and excellently in this moment.
Located in Jacksonville, one of the largest cities by land mass in the U.S., the church sits in a region rich with beaches, rivers, parks, and strong suburban neighborhoods ideal for families . The city offers economic growth, diverse communities, strong schools, and an active church presence—large enough for opportunity, small enough to build meaningful relationships.
The Experience Director leads the teams responsible for creating engaging, biblically rooted weekend worship gatherings that form disciples and mobilize them for mission. This role partners closely with the Lead Pastor and Senior Leadership Team to align worship, media, production, and first impressions with Christ’s Church’s disciple-making culture. The position blends organizational leadership with creative direction — building systems while shepherding people. The Experience Director ensures environments are distraction-free, participatory, and spiritually formative.
