
Chicago Tabernacle is a wonderful church led by two great leaders, Pastors Al and Chrissy Toledo. This church has a passion for dynamic worship which birthed from their history coming out of the award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle.
Chicago Tabernacle’s culture strongly emphasizes stewardship, which entails entrusting responsibilities to individuals and empowering them to take charge. Two fundamental principles drive Chicago Tabernacle’s ministry philosophy throughout the organization and even among the congregants:
“We live privately healthy to be publicly fruitful.” – This phrase signifies their unwavering commitment to prioritize individuals’ private lives over their talent or public achievements. They also believe deeply in high execution and drive because their culture revolves around stewardship.
The Worship Director leads worship during Sunday and Tuesday services to foster a vibrant, life-giving, and spiritually enriching worship atmosphere whereby audiences may experience God’s presence. This role is instrumental in shaping the worship experience at the church, contributing to the congregation’s spiritual growth through music and worship. The director is expected to a) have a passion for worship and a keen understanding of its role in a service/meeting; b) build a spirited team of musicians and worship leaders through recruitment, training and development, discipleship, and soul-care; c) promote music excellence and the creation of songs congruent with the church’s doctrine; d) consult with the Lead Pastor occasionally to garner his perspective on worship and worship experiences.
