Worship Director

The Worship Director leads worship during Sunday and Tuesday services to foster a vibrant, life-giving, and spiritually enriching worship atmosphere whereby audiences may experience God’s presence. This role is instrumental in shaping the worship experience at the church, contributing to the congregation’s spiritual growth through music and worship. The director is expected to a) have a passion for worship and a keen understanding of its role in a service/meeting; b) build a spirited team of musicians and worship leaders through recruitment, training and development, discipleship, and soul-care; c) promote music excellence and the creation of songs congruent with the church’s doctrine; d) consult with the Lead Pastor occasionally to garner his perspective on worship and worship experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead worship for Sunday and Tuesday services and as requested.
• Ensure musicians and singers are fully prepared for services and ministry events.
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of multi-generational musicians and vocalists who serve in various ministries across the church.
• Provide soul care and discipleship for team members.
• Collaborate with Band Lead in the selection and scheduling of music.
• Oversee midweek rehearsal and deputize as needed.
• Review practice sessions with rehearsal lead to improve the overall quality and provide training for leads.
• Collaborate with the Technical Director to ensure seamless music and technical elements integration.

• MUST have the ability to be flexible, teachable, able to pivot quickly, responsive, plan ahead
• Must be able to flow with spirit-led leaders such as Al and Chrissy Toledo.
