Position Description

As the Teaching & Women’s Ministry Pastor, this individual will play a vital role in both teaching and shepherding the congregation, with a special emphasis on the spiritual growth and discipleship of women.

This position will serve as the principal communicator on Sunday morning approximately six times per year. In addition, this pastor will provide pastoral counseling and biblical guidance for women at various life stages, leading dynamic Women’s Ministry programs, Bible studies, and events that meet diverse spiritual and relational needs.

Leadership responsibilities include recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteers, managing staff effectively, and serving as a member of the Directional Leadership Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively Teach and Communicate Biblical Truth
    • Ability to teach and communicate Scripture effectively in various settings, including Sunday services, Bible studies, and discipleship groups.
    • Skilled in sermon preparation, public speaking, and engaging diverse audiences with biblical truth.
  • Provide Pastoral Care and Discipleship for Women
    • Strong shepherding skills to provide spiritual guidance, pastoral counseling, and biblical support for women in different life stages.
    • Ability to create and implement discipleship pathways that encourage spiritual growth and faith development.
  • Lead and Develop Ministry Teams with Vision and Purpose
    • Proven ability to recruit, train, and mentor staff and volunteer leaders to expand the impact of Women’s Ministry.
    • Effective leadership in managing ministry teams, setting goals, providing coaching, and cultivating a healthy, unified team culture.
  • Strategically Plan and Execute Women’s Ministry Initiatives
    • Capacity to design, implement, and evaluate Women’s Ministry programs, events, and initiatives that align with the church’s mission.
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills to oversee ministry logistics, staff performance, and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate and Engage with the Church and Community
    • Ability to partner with other ministries within the church (e.g., Family, Marriage, and Student Ministries) to provide holistic support for women.
    • Experience in developing outreach initiatives and forming strategic partnerships with local organizations to serve and disciple women inside and outside the church.
