Broadway was planted in 1978 by the Arizona Christian Church Planters, Central Christian Church, and Community Christian Church.
John Enabnit has been Sr. Pastor at Broadway since 1988. John Enabnit has a gift for preaching, which has laid a strong foundation for Broadway during his ministry. John is very good with people and is strong in pastoral care. With John Enabnit as Sr. Pastor, Broadway has had steady growth over the majority of his time. John Enabnit will be staying on staff part-time after his retirement.
Assuming the Lead Pastor position when John Enabnit retires is John Klundt. John Klundt has been at Broadway since 2001.
John Klundt has served as a youth pastor at Broadway and then as associate pastor, and recently as an executive pastor. John Klundt has strong leadership skills and vision. Has also been a part of Broadway’s steady growth during his tenure on staff at Broadway.
Broadway is excited to embrace a new Teaching Pastor, and the new leader will enjoy joining and leading a healthy church and staff as they grow and reach the city of Phoenix with the hope of Jesus.
Purpose of Position: the primary role of the Teaching Pastor will be to preach the Word of God faithfully. He must be committed to the discipleship of all believers with the goal of assisting all to grow in maturity. The secondary role will be determined by giftedness and passion and the needs of BCC.
