    Position Description

    Bethel is seeking a high-level leader to bring excellence to the Children’s Ministry (Babies – 5th Grade) as Bethel Kids has incredible potential for continued growth. They’re looking for the right leader to build a dynamic program to love and lead the kids, families, and volunteers in an excellent way. Being able to connect with people is very important in this setting, but the right leader must also have a strong ability to organize and provide administration for Bethel Kids.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Builds relational traction, casts vision, equips volunteers within a ministry setting, and leads people toward a dynamic vision.
    • Builds relationships with adults who are leaders and parents.
    • Plans events and activities that are for families and/or kids.
    • Edits, preps, and prepares all curriculum needs (currently using Orange Curriculum).
    • Detail-oriented and able to balance the needs of diverse types of people including kids with varying levels of need.

    What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

    • Driven first and foremost by a love for Jesus and a desire to see kids come to know Him.
    • Highly driven personality, hard worker, pushes self to work diligently and independently.
    • Someone who will seek out opportunities to learn, grow, and exceed previous performance.
    • Needs to be able to thrive in an environment where change and growth are expected.
    • Experience in childhood development, education, ministry, and/or leadership and administration.
