Berkley Chapel is a church rooted in a simple but weighty conviction: we are a family of missionary servants sent by Jesus Christ to make disciples.
That identity shapes everything. This is not a church built on hype, programs, or performance. It is a community of ordinary people learning to live faithfully—anchored in Scripture, committed to one another, and serious about spiritual growth. The church places a high value on the ordinary means of grace—God’s Word, prayer, and life together—trusting that real transformation comes from God, not from manufactured experiences.
Berkley Chapel began in 2006 and has grown into a healthy, debt-free church with strong unity, engaged leadership, and a clear sense of who it is. The church is staff led, elder guarded, relationally grounded, and experiencing fresh momentum in discipleship, community, and outreach.
Located in Auburndale, Florida, the church sits in a growing, family-oriented community in Polk County. With a strong foundation and a clear mission, Berkley Chapel is positioned not just for growth in numbers, but for deeper impact—helping people take real steps toward maturity in Christ and extending that influence throughout the region.
The Family Pastor at Berkley Chapel is a shepherd-leader responsible for cultivating gospel-centered discipleship in the home. This role equips parents as primary disciplers, builds a thriving student ministry, and develops a unified pathway that connects kids, students, and families into a life of following Jesus. You won’t just lead programs—you’ll pastor people, helping families take real steps of growth in the context of everyday life.
This is a role for someone who wants to build, not maintain—someone who sees the long game of discipleship and is ready to invest deeply in the next generation and those raising them.
