About This Organization

Providing a Sanctuary for Recovery
As a start-up 501(c) non-profit organization, Beauty from Ashes Ranch is driven towards helping young women 18-24 years old with a sanctuary where they can find hope and heal from the trauma associated with sexual exploitation. Their vision is that every woman who is sexually exploited will have the hope, support, and tools needed to pursue her dreams and live a life of freedom. BFAR will do its part by providing a place of escape for women who have been sexually exploited.
BFAR will provide the residents with a loving home environment that includes a variety of therapeutic programs, such as equine therapy, counseling, education, and job training.

Position Description

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management, operation, strategy, and direction of Beauty From Ashes Ranch. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring BFAR is carrying out its mission effectively and is responsible for championing the organization’s mission and vision to the public for the purposes of fundraising and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and assure the organization has a long-term strategy that achieves its mission
  • Champion BFAR’s vision to the public (including public speaking), and build new partnerships with complementary organizations, local churches, and potential funders
  • Establish and mobilize a sustainable funding strategy through generating donor relationships and local fundraising activities, as well as implementing a strategic plan to expand the reach of BFAR’s program
  • Establish BFAR’s credibility as a professional organization with expertise in serving our target population
  • Maximize and fully engage BFAR’s Board of Directors and future Committees
  • Build and coach BFAR’s Leadership Team in achieving excellence, carrying out effective programming with clearly defined outcomes
  •  Provide high-level oversight to residents, programming, and internal business practices
  • Establish and oversee BFAR’s strategic priorities and annual org-wide staff development plan
  • Regularly evaluate program components to ensure BFAR’s mission is being fully carried out and resources are being fully maximized
  • Lead key community partner relationships to initiate new strategic partnerships and guide ongoing collaborations
