Lakeside Christian Church

Associate Pastor of Discipleship

Kirkland, Washington

About This Organization

In the late 1940’s First Baptist Church of Kirkland was established. The church has never been a member of a denomination – Baptist in name with very conservative roots. The church has had 5 Senior Pastors.

Pastor Vince became the senior Pastor in the fall of 2005. In 2014, the church embarked on a revitalization program which included re-envisioning the church’s vision and mission around the concept of relationship and the church as a family. We opened our doors to serve the city with an Emergency Women’s Winter Shelter in our fellowship hall for 12 hours each night (Sept to March). During this process the church was renamed Lakeside Christian Church and culminated in the renovation of facilities to serve the vision in 2019.

In 2020, COVID caused Lakeside to pivot to online and outdoor gatherings for worship. In 2022, Lakeside revitalized the church and children’s ministry. Since the fall of 2022 God has blessed the church with incredible growth and health.
