Amnion operates out of a core belief in the biblical principle of the sanctity of life. The staff works incredibly hard, demonstrating a “do whatever it takes” approach to serving clients with compassion and excellence. Their work is deeply relational, meeting clients where they are and walking with them through some of life’s most difficult decisions. The team values clear communication, mutual respect, spiritual growth, and mental and emotional care. The new Executive Director will inherit a staff that is eager to be led well and empowered to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide spiritually grounded and biblically rooted leadership that aligns with Amnion’s mission. Ensure that Amnion’s Gospel mission shapes every aspect of the organization, from staff culture and client care to donor relations, volunteer engagement, church partnerships, community outreach, and operational decisions.
- Oversee day-to-day operations including budgeting, HR, insurance, facilities, and organizational compliance.
- Ensure excellence in medical services by supervising licensed staff and maintaining all clinical and legal standards.
- Expand and deepen donor engagement and community partnerships to significantly grow financial support and sustainability.
- Represent Amnion through public speaking, board presentations, and community engagement.
- Partner with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, organizational development, and governance.
- Expand Amnion’s reach by growing client services, enhancing RealEd programming, and building community referral networks.
Key Qualifications
- Spiritually rooted: with a mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a demonstrated commitment to the sanctity of life.
- Proven executive leadership: in a nonprofit, medical, or ministry setting, with strengths in financial management, HR, legal compliance, and board collaboration.
- Comfortable overseeing licensed medical professionals: and ensuring all services meet legal, clinical, and ethical standards.
- Relationally wise: able to build trust across a diversity of individuals, including clients, staff, donors, and board members.
- Clear and compelling communicator: gifted in both public speaking and written communication, able to inspire, inform, and advocate effectively.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree: (master’s preferred) and brings at least 4 years of senior leadership experience, with demonstrated success in team management, operations, and organizational growth.

- Build trust with staff, board, and donors by listening well then creating and moving forward in strategic implementation with clarity and humility.
- Significantly increase the number of clients served by expanding direct outreach, strengthening marketing efforts, and increasing accessibility and availability of services.
- Launch a refreshed donor engagement strategy, resulting in increased and upgraded giving by household and church investors, as well as participation in key fundraising events.
