Mission:
- Africa New Life Ministries exists to communicate the message of Jesus Christ in word and deed, to Rwanda and all the nations. This ministry will help all peoples to understand the relationship with God available to them through belief in Jesus as Savior.
- This will be accomplished by providing access to education, leadership training, and healthcare; through church planting and Christian discipleship; and through holistic care for vulnerable children, and women and men in need.

Culture
- Gospel-Centered & Spiritually Integrated: Faith is actively woven into the day-to-day life of the organization. Prayer is a regular and visible practice, spiritual conversations are common, and engagement with the local church is a shared expectation across the team.

Key Responsibilities
Church Engagement & Relationship Management
- Researches and identifies prospective churches, building and maintaining a strategic target list through research, networking, and relationship building.
- Creates and follows a structured contact approach strategy, ensuring timely outreach, follow-ups, and meetings.
- Conducts effective meetings with church leaders, delivering compelling presentations and making a strong first impression on behalf of Africa New Life.
- Documents interactions, tracks engagement, and ensures accurate reporting of relationship progress.
- Guides churches through the Partner Journey toward deeper partnership, new sponsorships, and financial contributions.
- Coordinates and represents Africa New Life at church leader events, conferences, and relevant events.
- Collaborates with the Advancement team to identify and leverage networks for new church relationships.
Event & Vision Trip Coordination
- Assembles, prepares, and leads church/pastor vision trips to Rwanda, two to four times per year.
- Attends and represents Africa New Life at partner meetings, Dream Sundays, New Life Sundays, and relevant conferences and events.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Reports regularly to the Director of Advancement on progress toward goals.
- Meets weekly with all staff to remain current on ANLM affairs.
- Collaborates with marketing on church-specific promotional materials as needed.
Travel
- This position requires travel for approximately 35% of the position, which may include two to three week-long Vision Trips to Rwanda, church partner visits, sponsorship events, and in-person Advancement Team meetings.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building and cultivating relationships with churches, ministry leaders, or other external partners.
- Professional experience within a nonprofit, ministry, or marketplace environment.
- Cross-cultural experience and the ability to build relationships across different cultural contexts; experience leading international mission or vision trips is a plus.
- A relational, adaptable approach with a willingness to learn, receive feedback, and embrace new ways of working.
- Proven ability to translate strong relationships into measurable results and meaningful long-term partnerships.
- Experience with sponsorship-based fundraising or similar development models is a plus.
- Experience in pastoral ministry, church staff leadership, marketing, communications, or basic design is also valuable.
