180 Life Church launched as West Hartford Community Church on June 12, 2005, with Pastor Bill and Rebecca LaMorey. It began as a small family and grew to a peak of over 600 people in weekly attendance and meets at Conard High School near the heart of West Hartford. The church name was changed to 180 Life Church after the pandemic to reflect a clarified vision and hope.
Our affiliation with Converge Worldwide has provided a strong connection to local and national Converge churches, tremendous support from the Northeast District, and opportunities to learn from and help train other churches in the network.
180 Life church has a rich history as God has given great favor in an area historically difficult to minister in. The church body is incredible and very resilient after all it has been through. With 62,000 people in West Hartford and over 800,000 in the Greater Hartford area, we believe the potential remains high for the right leader to make a dramatic impact in strengthening, growing, and expanding this church in an incredible, exponential way.
180 Life Church has been established in the community for years and has enormous potential for growth with a healthy staff and diverse congregation focused on reaching new people for Christ and growing in their discipleship.
The church took a hit during the pandemic but is rebuilding, focusing on re-engaging people in attending, serving, giving, and general participation. The core vision and Biblical foundation are strong, with a committed staff and board of directors ready for the next season God has for them and the church. 180 is uniquely positioned to reach the greater Hartford area for Christ and potentially influence the spread of the Gospel throughout Connecticut.
