For a leader passionate about God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, reaching students, and partnering with families, the Youth Pastor role at Christ Chapel could be the perfect fit. The team at Christ Chapel is dedicated to serving the community and seeing lives transformed
Christ Chapel took root in February 1979. From its inception, the church embraced four fundamental goals: to be Bible-centered, evangelistic, prayer-focused, and mission-minded. These pillars have remained steadfast over the years. Christ Chapel was a portable church until June 2000, when they completed the construction of their current facilities, creating a space where the community could come together to worship, grow, and serve. Since then, this building has been a cornerstone of faith and fellowship, witnessing countless moments of worship, prayer, salvation, healings, weddings, spiritual growth, and connection. Over the years, the church has made many updates and upgrades to better accommodate its growth. The most recent update was in July 2024, when the church completed a remodel of the auditorium, featuring new seating, a redesigned stage, and upgraded technology.
Pastor Bobby Gourley has led Christ Chapel since 2014, after relocating with his family from Nashville. Under his leadership, the church has experienced significant growth and maintained a strong passion for reaching the community and discipling its congregation. Currently, Christ Chapel is in a season of renewed vision and direction. Staying true to its foundational principles, Christ Chapel remains committed to awakening and empowering people to live and love like Jesus.
The Youth Pastor will provide spiritual, pastoral, and strategic leadership for the Student Ministries at Chapel for students in both middle school and high school. This person will collaborate with the NextGen ministry team to effectively disciple and reach students inside the church and in the community.
