La Cañada Presbyterian Church (LCPC) began in 1948 with 158 members and a vision to reach the world for Jesus Christ. That early church was built quite literally on faith and charity from remainder brick and an operating budget that turned just about all of its revenue into active ministry. Through over 75 years of outreach, LCPC has grown to 1,500 active attendees doing ministry throughout Southern California and in 40 countries around the world.
To ensure the systems, practices, processes, policies and operations of the church responsibly and effectively supports its ministry activities. This position leads strategy and execution in accomplishment of mission and vision and assists the Senior Pastor in overseeing the life and direction of La Canada Presbyterian Church under the leadership of the Session.
The Executive Pastor is supported by committees of the Session that relate to this position: Personnel, Financial Management, Buildings and Grounds and Stewardship.
