Snyder Memorial Baptist Church is ready to welcome its next Director of Children’s Ministry! This is a great role for an energetic leader looking to serve families through engaging programming and pastoral leadership.
Snyder is a multigenerational church with a rich history. Snyder has always been a mission-minded church. Since the church’s founding in 1949, the church has supported missions. The church has given over 6 million dollars to mission causes in the last ten years. Snyder has built 10 Habitat for Humanity houses by providing labor and funding and funds to refurbish 3 Habitat Houses. Over 200 church members have done short-term mission projects overseas (some going as many as 15 times), and hundreds have participated in national projects.
Although not a “military” church, Snyder has always had many active and retired military personnel in its membership. They have brought vigor and cosmopolitan ideas, which has given Snyder an edge. Snyder is known for its creative programming, diverse worship experiences, and community involvement.
The Director of Children’s Ministry is responsible for leading and developing Snyder’s overall ministry efforts for children aged birth through fifth grade and their families. They will participate fully as a pastoral staff member, supporting and assisting in church programs, meeting regularly with deacons, providing leadership to Snyder Learning Center, assigned committees and ministry teams, and performing other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
