Chris believes that the local church is the hope of the world and has been effectively serving local churches since 1999 as an executive leader where he has overseen coaching, staff development, and campus expansion at both his current church and churches across the country. In addition to his Slingshot role connecting executive leaders to their next season of calling, he also serves as Executive Pastor of Reynolda Church in North Carolina. Chris graduated summa cum laude from Bluefield College in 2001, holds a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in American Religious History from Wake Forest University, where he received the Samuel & Sarah Wait Fellowship in Theology & Ministry and Wake Forest Graduate Fellowship and holds a Doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of Good News and Great Ideas from Judson Press and the forthcoming titles Rescuing Jesus from Christmas and The Optional Yes: Creating a Movement That Changes Your World. Chris and his wife Merri have three children. They reside in Winston Salem, North Carolina where the sky is always Carolina blue!
