Nick Blevins serves as an Executive Consultant with Slingshot Group, bringing over 20 years of hands-on ministry leadership to the churches and teams he serves. After partnering with Slingshot on multiple searches at his own church, Nick joined the team to help other churches build healthy, high-impact staff teams through Slingshot’s relational and trusted search process.

Nick currently serves on the leadership team at Community Christian Church in Baltimore, Maryland, where he leads the NextGen and Operations teams. As part of the original launch team in 2006, he has helped shape sustainable ministry systems that support kids, students, families, volunteers, and staff. He has also served on church plant management teams, providing leadership and counsel to planters from pre-launch through their early years.

Passionate about helping leaders work on their ministry—not just in it—Nick speaks, coaches, and writes to equip church teams. He is the author of The Volunteer Playbook, a practical guide to recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers. He also co-founded Ministry Boost and Kidmin.com, platforms designed to provide practical tools and encouragement for ministry leaders.

Nick and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for over 20 years and have three children. He remains deeply committed to the local church and to helping leaders build healthy teams, strong systems, and lasting ministries.
