Chesed (pronounced “Kessid”), joined the Slingshot Team in early 2016 as a Staffing and Coaching Associate. She is passionate about the local church! Her relational strengths, expansive network, innovative spirit, and passion for people make her a valued member of our team and a key advisor in a staffing and coaching partnership.

Her experience in Organizational Development started over a decade ago as the former Recruitment Director at Life.Church. Chesed found her niche with staffing and coaching, in this role as she led the change to identify, interview and hire the team that God is still using to make history there at every level of the organization, from pastoral, operational, and technical roles. Her experience at Life.Church and her role at Slingshot have allowed her to build a strong understanding of the multisite church model, employee engagement, compensation, organizational health, and structure, as well as an evident talent for filling roles in multiple ministry areas.

Chesed, her husband Patrick, and their two beautiful daughters reside in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. As a family, they are committed to serving their church and community, while making adventure part of their lifestyle. They spend their leisure time surrounded by family, playing on the water, an adventuring around the world.
