Mission, Vision, and Values
Mission:
- Grace Heartland seeks to be “a community of Christ followers on mission to the world.” They pursue this by loving Jesus passionately, loving one another unconditionally, and loving people sacrificially.
Vision Elements:
- Their worship values emphasize authentic, creative, and biblical worship that glorifies God and builds up the church. Discipleship is central — inviting believers into deeper transformation through community, Scripture, and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and co-plan weekly weekend worship services with the Worship Pastor.
- Prepare and lead rehearsals with musicians and vocalists.
- Build, manage, and implement tracks, loops, and live arrangements.
- Assist with song selection that supports teaching and congregational engagement.
- Develop and disciple student worship leaders and musicians.
- Collaborate with production and creative teams to support service flow and environment.
- Communicate clearly with volunteers and staff about expectations, schedules, and changes.
- Serve as a positive pastoral presence to volunteers, students, and congregants.
- Attend worship planning meetings and staff gatherings.
- Help recruit and train new worship volunteers.
