Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and aligning ministries for kids (birth-5th grade)
- Maintaining and using workflows and systems that enhance clarity, organization and communication
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain families
- Leading and nurturing a dream team of staff and volunteers across all age groups for Kids Ministries
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and programming for each age appropriate area
- Bridging the gaps between different age groups, ensuring smooth transitions
- Organizing and leading special events, camps, outreach and mission opportunities for various age groups
- Mentoring and developing kids and student leaders, fostering their spiritual growth and leadership skills
- Creating a buzz about Evangel’s Kids ministries in our community through outreach, events, and school partnerships
- Partnering with parents, equipping them to disciple their children and families
- Being a living example of integrity, discipleship, and evangelism
- Nurturing your own spiritual growth and maintain a vibrant walk with God
- Upholding and teaching Assemblies of God theology with clarity and enthusiasm
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Ministry, Christian Education, or a related field
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- The ability to recruit and build teams of adults to reach and disciple kids
