Key Responsibilities
- Serve on the Executive Team and help shape the culture, strategy, and leadership of the church.
- Lead and execute the vision for worship across WCC, creating engaging, Christ-centered worship experiences.
- Recruit, train, and develop a strong team of musicians and vocalists—paid and volunteer.
- Serve as the primary worship leader, while developing other leaders for rotation and future multiplication.
- Oversee worship planning, rehearsals, team development, and music selection.
- Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and Teaching Team to align worship with message series and church vision.
- Oversee audio, video, lighting, and production systems in partnership with the Technical Director.
- Work closely with Worship Arts staff to create a culture of collaboration, care, and creativity.
Key Qualifications
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by spiritual maturity and character.
- 5–10 years of worship leadership experience in a local church context.
- Ability to lead from an instrument and vocally with excellence and authenticity.
- Strong leadership skills, especially in developing and multiplying volunteer teams.
- Experience and comfort working with and leading at the executive level.
- Alignment with WCC’s theology, mission, and vision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute high-quality worship services.
- Working knowledge of music theory, production systems, and worship technologies.
