Campus Pastor

The Campus Pastor will serve as the key leader of one of Marcus Pointe’s corresponding satellite campuses to facilitate the mission of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church and be overall responsible for on-site and off-site execution of all campus ministry activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the campus congregation.
• Administer campus church affairs efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate and lead campus worship services.
• Manage and support the campus staff and department heads.
• Actively engage with the the community to foster connections and growth.
• Exemplify a life consistent with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

• A Diligent Operative with strong administrative and organizational skills.
• A Versatile Multitasker who can seamlessly handle multiple assignments that are different in nature.
• A Mobilizer who attracts followers and can turn them into volunteer servants at a variety of leadership levels.
• An Effective Communicator who is able to hold the attention of the room as he makes announcements, comments on the service, and gives an invitation. There will be ample opportunity for the (CP) to lead through their communication ability, but this is not primarily a preaching/teaching role.
• A People Magnet who is very relational and loves being around people as much as they love being around him.
• A Pastoral-Hearted man who cares for people.
• A Compassionate Soul Winner who consistently shares the gospel through his words and his works.
• A DNA Carrier who will reproduce the (MPBC) mission of Connecting people with God, Connecting people with Others, and Connecting people with a Lost World.

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

• A born-again believer in Christ with a clear testimony.
• A growing Christian who spends personal time with the Lord.
• A man of integrity and character.
• A faithful, generous steward.
• A bible-believing Christian who agrees with the (MPBC) Statement of Faith.
• Agrees and aligns with the vision, values, and leadership distinctives of (MPBC).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A licensed or ordained minister of the gospel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Bible or Church Ministries.
• At least 5 years experience on a pastoral staff.
• Faithful, effective, and perpetual local church service.
