About This Organization

Established in 1961, Mountain Park First Baptist Church is a vibrant and loving community church committed to sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. The heart of this church is centered on building relationships that reflect Christ’s love and extending that love to the surrounding community. Situated in a richly diverse area, Mountain Park forged a special connection with Mountain Park Elementary School, Georgia’s most diverse elementary school. This unique partnership provides opportunities to serve and impact families from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. This church embraces an eclectic style of worship and remains faithful to the Scriptures, creating a welcoming environment where people from all walks of life can grow in their faith and relationship with Christ.

Mountain Park is a hub of activity, meeting the needs of the community in both spiritual and practical ways. Their wellness center serves over 300 people weekly, offering resources and physical and emotional health care. A weekday preschool, recently named one of the best in Gwinnett, provides a nurturing foundation for young children and their families. Through partnerships like i9 Sports and Artios Christian Academy, Mountain Park offers enriching activities that support physical, creative, and academic growth for kids and teens. Additionally, Enduring Connections Counseling Center provides compassionate, Christ-centered support for individuals and families seeking emotional healing. Together, these ministries and partnerships reflect the mission to love and serve their neighbors while pointing them to the transformative hope found in Jesus.
