Christ Community is a strong, healthy church that has a great staff culture. I know this to be true because I have been on staff here for almost 20 years!
Christ Community is celebrating 40 years of ministry with a rich history of making disciples of Jesus locally and internationally. Many new Christ followers – kids, students and adults, are baptized each year. The Dekalb campus started more than 20 years ago. CCC is positioning itself for the next chapter of the church, looking to start 2 more campuses in coming years and transitioning the Sr leader role this May.
The Dekalb Children’s Pastor’s ultimate function is to pastor and shepherd children, parents and volunteers to be passionate disciples of Jesus. They will oversee the campus’ weekend and midweek ministry for nursery-5th grade while supervising part time staff and volunteer teams as well as key special events throughout the year.
