Refugee Ministry Director

The Northwest Community Center is a distinct ministry of Northwest Bible Church, and this position is part of the church staff, reflecting the strong partnership and shared mission between the two. The Director of Northwest Community Center will lead the Center in its mission to aid, empower, and invite refugee families in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood. As a strategic and relational leader, the Director will oversee day-to-day operations, build collaborative partnerships, and ensure the Center’s programs align with the mission of Northwest Bible Church. This role offers the opportunity to foster deep community impact while shaping the future of the Center’s ministry through visionary leadership and a Gospel-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the vision for ministry to refugees in alignment with Northwest Bible Church’s leadership and mission.
• Oversee and coordinate the Center’s programs and operations, ensuring they meet physical, relational, and spiritual needs while aligning with NCC’s mission.
• Create opportunities for relational, easy-to-start conversations about Jesus, fostering pathways for refugees to explore faith and experience the hope of the Gospel.
• Provide spiritual leadership to the NCC team, fostering a culture of relational ministry, prayer, discipleship, and Gospel-centered values in daily operations and team dynamics.
• Build trust within the refugee community and Vickery Meadow through relational ministry, fostering connections that lead to deeper spiritual conversations and discipleship.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Northwest Bible Church staff and leadership, serving as a key bridge between the church and NCC.
• Cultivate relationships with external donors, churches, and grant-making organizations to expand the Center’s funding and sustainability.
• Develop strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, community leaders, and city agencies to enhance the Center’s impact and extend its mission.
