About This Organization

RCF is known for its impact in the city with a focus on courageously living for Jesus in a way that inspires others to do the same. Through a discipleship culture of raising up leaders we celebrate steps of transformation people take. Our worship services are celebratory and rooted in solid biblical teaching with practical next steps and our Sunday Kids Ministry has a fantastic reputation in the community as we continue to see young families joining our church. Theologically, Jesus is the center of all we do. RCF maintains a traditional stance of marriage, an egalitarian view of women in leadership, practice believers’ baptism and partner with other churches within the city. The leadership structure is staff lead, elder protected/governed.

Reno Christian Fellowship was the first non-denominational church plant in Reno in the early 1970’s. The church now sits on 24-acres of land in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is a fantastic area to raise a family and enjoy year-round activities within 40 minutes of Lake Tahoe. Whether you enjoy skiing, boating, mountain biking, hiking or world class entertainment options, Reno has what you’re looking for.
