Rescue House

Student Pastor

Mocksville, North Carolina

Why I Love This Opportunity

Ryan Latham

Associate

God is doing a new thing at Rescue House. He has blessed their passion for reaching the lost, which has been the focus since the church was founded by Pastor Matt. Today, there is a deeper passion for discipleship and building up leadership teams. The Rise Up youth ministry is growing and changing lives, with its emphasis on small groups and a monthly outreach service. This is an exciting time to join the team at Rescue House.

About This Organization

Pastor Matt founded Rescue House Church in 2010 with 30 in attendance on launch Sunday. The people of Rescue House describe it as a place to call home. Whether you are new to church, have been a Christian for years, or are just looking for a fresh start you feel welcomed. There are so many stories of healing and restoration – it is the place where their lives have been changed.

Rescue House is known for extreme generosity in their community and for being a church for all types of people. They love reaching people no one else is reaching, those who have been hurt by “church” or those who are just trying to figure church out. They’ve had such an impact on their region that in 2018, they were voted “Best Place to Work” and “Best Place to Worship” by the county’s Chamber of Commerce.

As a church, they value helping people discover who God made them to be by knowing God, finding freedom and embracing purpose.
