Immediately when you set foot on the school campus, you can sense the familial connection amongst students and staff alike. The culture and team are committed to spiritual formation and Christian education, which sets Temple Christian School apart from many other school options. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned leader who desires to bring their academic and leadership expertise to a Christ-centered community with momentum towards the future.
Temple Christian School’s (TCS) primary goal is to train a generation of young people whose desire is to change the world with the power of the Gospel. TCS serves students from Pre-K all the way to 12th grade.
Founded by Temple Baptist Church in 1973, this is a school community which is decidedly different and distinctively Christian. As a ministry of the church, Temple sits on a 29-acre campus also shared with Temple Days Daycare & Preschool.
TCS is a church led school with the Pastor leading the overall vision and mission and the Head of School running all the day-to-day operations, both with accountability to the School Board (Leadership Team of Temple Baptist Church). The Head of School (HOS) is responsible for managing the school and providing leadership for the overall success of the school program.
The role includes responsibility for all TCS educational and managerial functions. Most importantly, the HOS will spend considerable time communicating with parents, faculty and staff, students, donors and other stakeholders in a manner which would build trust and demonstrate TCS’s stability and strengths for the future.
