I love the passion that C3 has for reaching the next generation, serving the Tri-Cities, and providing a healthy ministry environment focused on prayer. This role is perfect for someone who wants to continue developing their leadership capabilities while leading a hungry and enthusiastic staff. The PNW provides lots of options for those who love the outdoors and great coffee.
The mission of C3 is to lead people into new and growing relationships with Jesus. Pre-pandemic, C3 was a church of 3,000 in regular attendance. With a current weekend attendance of over 1,700, they are actively preparing for an uptick of growth in this new chapter of ministry with new Lead Pastor, Adrian Schoonmaker. They are a diverse group of people with a variety of backgrounds. They place a primary emphasis on Jesus-centered personal growth, meaningful group life, and community outreach. C3 is continuationist, believing the Holy Spirit is active today and empowering the lives of believers. They practice believer baptism through full immersion, hold a traditional view of marriage and sexuality, and are egalitarian when it comes to women in leadership.
The new Lead Family Ministries Pastor at C3 Tri-Cities will be responsible for setting the overall vision, aligning ministry efforts, and directing strategic initiatives for the church’s family ministries. This leader will collaborate closely with the Youth Director to guide the youth ministry and oversee the staff and volunteers for the Kids and Young Adults Ministries. The role emphasizes developing ministry strategies to accommodate expected rapid growth and fostering innovative and evangelistic approaches to help children and students deepen their relationships with Jesus.
