Kids Pastor

The Kids’ Pastor/Director oversees all Arden Kids’ ministry programming (Birth-5th) and partners with families to be the primary disciple-makers of their kids. This person will faithfully serve as the leader of the Arden Kids ministry by equipping Reach Team volunteers for all gatherings. Additionally, this role also includes providing leadership, vision, and care to the Arden Kids’ staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide leadership to the Arden kids’ staff team through 1 on 1’s, coaching, spiritual encouragement, development plans & reviews.
• Oversee and provide dynamic leadership to all programming events and activities as listed in the Biltmore Kids EPOD & Ministry Handbooks.
• Recruit, equip, and encourage the Arden Kids’ ReachTeams.
• Cast vision for growth in Arden Kids’ ministry, advocate for needed or suggested changes, and implement centrally given strategies.
• Create, evaluate, and implement yearly goals and action plans for Arden Kids’ ministry.
• Partner & meet with families and volunteers to encourage discipleship and next steps.
• Maintain the kids ministry budget, and delegate accordingly.
• Attend & actively engage in campus team and central kids team meetings.
• Cooperate with the Arden Campus Pastor and Central Kids Director by performing any other duties assigned.

• A thoughtful and proactive communicator who initiates mission-critical details inside and outside of weekly team meetings
• Candidates must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalency, a college degree, and 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Must have an eye for excellence with a demonstrated ability to improve upon systems and procedures
• This leader is a highly organized team player, a fast learner, and committed to excellence
