Why I Love This Opportunity

Brian Aaby

Senior Associate

This is my second time getting to partner with Calvary in 10 years– it’s so refreshing to see so many of the same staff still on the team. This speaks to the health of the church and the staff. This opportunity is tremendous; not only do you get to work with awesome people, but you also get to do so in one of the most beautiful places!
If you’re a self-starter, motivated by relationships, and ready to hit the ground running, this is something you need to check out!

About This Organization

Calvary Bible Church, with campuses in Boulder, Erie, and Thornton, Colorado, started in Boulder in 1889. It has a long history of impacting the Kingdom locally and globally. They’ve planted churches, supported 45 global missions, and influenced their region through biblical teaching and community service. The Erie campus began in 2006 at Erie High School and moved to a new facility in 2014. In 2020, they launched Calvary Online and the Thornton Campus.

Under Senior Pastor Tom Shirk for nearly 30 years, Calvary is a healthy, stable church. Their leadership’s collaborative approach drives numerical and spiritual growth.

Calvary is committed to building a Christ-centered community devoted to loving God and others. This commitment shows in their teaching, community service, and participation in local and global missions.

The Erie Campus grew from 400 to 1800 weekly attendees in 10 years. The recent move of their High School Director opens a partnership opportunity with Slingshot.
