For over 50 years, RiverTree Christian Church has been reaching out to Stark County and beyond. Currently, RiverTree consists of 8 campuses ranging in size from 100 to 1,500 people & multiple “third spaces.” In addition, RiverTree is committed to launching multiple networks of churches that will multiply the church at every level by equipping people to be disciple-makers of Jesus Christ.
RiverTree pastors strongly contend for and are unified around four primary Values: Incarnation in their own communities, Mission with God that reaches “the one,” Health that shows in lives whose “doing” life does not exceed their “being” life, and Multiplication of every facet of their church from disciple-making to church planting.
RiverTree’s family of churches wants to plant churches that plant churches because they believe this is an integral piece of accomplishing our vision to see Northeast Ohio wake up to the Lordship of Jesus. For this to happen, RiverTree will need Church Planters in Residence that can be sent out to launch new churches in Northeast Ohio.
The Campus Pastor in Residence at RiverTree will go through a 1–2 year church planting residency and process where RiverTree will invest their DNA, philosophy, learnings, experience, practices, influence, funds, and people as they send out future church planters to launch and lead future campuses in Northeast Ohio.
