Metro Community Church

Worship Central Director/Campus Worship Pastor

Edwardsville,

About This Organization

Metro Community Church was founded over 26 years ago with a vision to reach those who had never been to church or perhaps had given up on church, but who still needed to hear the truth about how much they mattered to God. Located in a growing suburb of St. Louis, Metro Community has embraced a multi-site model having launched its first multi-site campus 10 years ago. Today, they operate a combination of 2 multi-site campuses and 2 “house campuses”. Over the next few years, the desire is to place an even greater emphasis on launching more sites with the goal of starting a new multi-site campus every 2 years.

Metro Community Church has an expression of worship that is decidedly modern in style. They have a desire to consistently push toward the next generation in everything they do. This includes staying current with new worship songs, media usage, and other forms of expression. All multi-site locations executed the same elements and feature live music delivered, typically, by a 5-piece band along with 2-5 vocalists in addition to the worship leader. Preaching is delivered live from the Edwardsville campus and video-cast to the other locations.
