Staff Culture
The staff at The Ridge has a high value on wonder and taking big swings. They seek to listen to the voice of God and follow His prompting, even if they fail. They are going to learn from it, have the last 10% conversations and then move forward. They have a fast‑paced work environment, but they don’t take themselves too seriously. The staff work hard, but also they like to have fun and laugh a lot. Honesty and authenticity are a big deal and they truly live it out. No matter what your title, you are a pastor first. The staff are very grateful for the leadership of Tim and Adam and see them as catalysts for their own leadership and the growth of the church. There is a real unity within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all campus experiences are executed with excellence, including Sunday morning service elements, family environments, first impressions, safety and other ministry needs.
- Implement and lead a functioning, effective, comprehensive system to engage people within the congregation so that they might have greater opportunities to know God and be individually known at The Ridge.
- Provide pastoral connection and care to people who attend the campus.
- Teach engaging, effective, biblical messages 2-4 times per year in coordination with the Lead Pastor.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5 years of ministry experience
- Spiritual Gifts – secondary (beneficial for this position) discernment, communication, administration.
- Skills/Experience – Interpersonal skills, team building, problem solving, biblical teaching, experience in communication in multi-generational settings
